Living with a Pit Bull: My Experience with Houston

Houston loves having some type of clothing on!

Living with a Pit Bull is something that not everyone is cut out for, but for me, it's been an incredible experience. I'm the proud owner of Houston, a handsome Pit Bull with a heart of gold. Like any dog, he has his quirks that make him unique, but he is truly one of a kind.

One of the first things I noticed about Houston is that he refuses to go for walks. I think that

because he's so comfortable at home, he doesn't see the point of leaving. However, I've learned that if I try to coax him out with a treat or a toy, he will eventually come around. But will only walk down 2 houses!

Another interesting thing about Houston is that he prefers the couch over the floor. He likes to cuddle up next to me and watch TV, and I think that he feels more secure on the couch. I've learned to keep a blanket handy, as he sheds like crazy, but it's a small price to pay for his affection.

Houston is the Sun God! He loves soaking in the rays!

Houston is a sensitive guy, and he does not like loud noises or too much commotion. It took me a while to realize this, but once I did, it made our lives a lot easier. I've learned to keep things calm and quiet in the house, which has helped him relax.

Despite his aversion to noise, Houston is unbelievably affectionate. He expresses his love with his eyes, and whenever I look at him, I can see how much he cares. If you stop petting him, he will take your arm to start petting him again. It's hard not to fall in love with him, and I feel lucky to have him in my life.

Living with a Pit Bull can be challenging, but it's also incredibly rewarding. Houston has taught me so much about patience, love, and loyalty, and I wouldn't trade him for anything. If you're considering getting a Pit Bull, I would encourage you to do your research and make sure that you're prepared. But if you're up for the challenge, I'm sure that you, like me, will find that Pit Bulls are some of the most incredible dogs out there.
